These terms apply to your use of carbonsig.com (the “website”), which Lumini, LLC (“CarbonSig”, “we”, “us”) operates. By using the website, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the website.
The CarbonSig app is a separate service. It is governed by its own terms and by the agreement signed with each customer, not by these terms.
1. What the website is for
The website gives general information about CarbonSig, our software and our services, and lets you contact us. Nothing on it is an offer to sell, and no purchase or contract is made through it.
2. Information, not advice
We work to keep the website accurate and up to date. However:
- content about regulations (for example CBAM, CSRD or product carbon footprints) is general information. It is not legal, tax, financial or compliance advice for your situation. Rules and deadlines change; check the official sources or ask a qualified adviser before acting.
- CarbonSig is a pre-verification platform. Carbon figures and examples on the website are illustrative. Any carbon calculation should be independently verified by an accredited third party.
- prices, packages and features described on the website are indicative. What applies to you is what is set out in your signed agreement with us.
3. Using the website
You may view and share pages of the website for your own information and business purposes. You agree not to:
- use the website unlawfully or to harm others;
- try to gain unauthorised access to it, disrupt it, or test its security without our written permission;
- scrape, copy or republish substantial parts of it, including to train AI models, without our written permission;
- send spam, false information or harmful code through the contact form.
4. Our content and brand
The website’s text, graphics, illustrations, software and the CarbonSig name and logo belong to Lumini, LLC or our licensors, and are protected by intellectual property laws. Other companies’ names and logos shown on the website belong to their owners. These terms give you no rights in any of them beyond section 3.
5. What you send us
When you contact us, you agree that the information you give is accurate and yours to share. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
6. Links to other websites
The website links to other sites, such as official regulatory sources and our app. We’re not responsible for their content or practices.
7. No warranties
The website is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we make no warranties about it, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, Lumini, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue or data, arising from your use of the website or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
9. Changes
We may update the website and these terms at any time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version, which applies from when it is posted.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This doesn’t remove any rights you have under the mandatory consumer laws of your country.
